The traditional charging system has a Kess
V2 V5.017 built-in temperature sensor in the generator of the automobile in
order to establish the set voltage value of the generator. When the generator
is in a cold state, the KESS generator set the output voltage value will rise; when
the generator temperature rises, set the output voltage drop. The use of this
voltage control of the charging system of the car, on the highway for a long
time driving process, prone to overcharge phenomenon, but in the low speed
short drive, there will be insufficient charge phenomenon.
The new voltage
regulation VAS
5054A control system is a new type of dynamic control vehicle system
voltage system. It is mainly based on the estimated battery temperature and
battery charge status to adjust the generator set the output voltage value.
With the fuel economy, to extend the life of the battery to extend the life of
the lamp to extend the life of the switch and so on.
General Motors
has begun to KESS V2 adopt the third generation of new voltage regulation
control system, mainly assembled in Cadillac CTS, SRX and STS; Chevrolet and
GMC full-size trucks and a variety of SUV; Chevrolet Cobalt and Uplander; Buick
LaCrosse and Terazza; Pontiac Grand Prix and SV6 and other new models.
The new voltage
regulation control system allows the vehicle voltage to fluctuate up and down
within a certain range, the KESS V2 FW 5.017 fluctuation range is generally 12
~ 14V; and the traditional voltage regulator is usually required to stabilize
the voltage at 14V.
